I was a huge Twitter skeptic.
But then I came to believe. As have others.
Twitter can break news stories. It can also monitor a crisis. Or spread a false rumor.
And Twitter can also be used to help save lives:
British snowboarder Rob Williams dies despite Twitter rescue campaign
Twitter and iPhone help find lost skier
Twitter has to be in the Palm Pre.
I am pretty sure there will be but I can’t say why.

The fact that they showed a Twitter icon in the Palm Pre App store is a pretty good sign that it’s probably a lock. See my comment and links to the pics right here:

I already use a Twitter client on my T|X at least to post. Unfortunately, Palm’s *Facebook* app won’t run on the T|X. I’m not worried about that for WebOS, but it would be nice if Palm would continue to at least acknowledge that its most capable, largest screen and Internet-enabled device still exists by updating the Facebook app.
