This is March. This is still the first quarter of 2009.
In January, Palm told everyone the Pre would be released in the first half of 2009.
Let’s get this straight, OK?
First Quarter of 2009: January, February, March
First Half of 2009: April, May, June
Since we haven’t hit July yet, how can there be a delay?

Not sure I’d put *any* stock in that drivel. Beware of “inside sources” at Palm. That’s about as tight lipped group as I’ve seen in a while.

Thank you. As anxious as I am for the Pre to be released, I applaud your efforts to quell the ensuing anger over its release date. First half of any 12 is 6. I’ll wait . . . extremely eagerly yes, but I’ll wait.

I’ve talked to Sprint and Best Buy, and they don’t have a clue. Best Buy was saying March, but they were obviously confused with the Treo Pro. I’m hearing mid-April, and mid-June, but strangely not May. I don’t care, I want it now, and have no choice but to wait, so patience has set in. I’d much rather a delay and release a virtually (nothing’s perfect) flawless device, than have it released early and buggy.
